COMMENTS: Cornelia was the daughter of Andries De Vos, a carpenter, who came from the Netherlands to America in 1641. He was a resident of Beverwyck (Albany) in 1658, 1662, 1664 and 1670. He sold real estate in 1675 and probably moved to Kingston and died shortly thereafter. One sister of Cornelia, Catalyntie, married Arent Bradt and had six children by him. Her second husband was Barent Jansen, who, along with a son, were killed in the Schenectady massacre (by Indians) in 1690. She married a third time and died in 1712.
