French Greathouse aged 78 years, died at 5 o'clock Friday morning, January 11, 1935, in the family residence at Guyaux, following a brief illness.
Surviving are: his widow, Rosa Greathouse: eight children, Dewey, Porter and Edward Greathouse, all at home: Mrs. John Simpkin, Gilbert, French, Jr., and Willis Greathouse, all of Guyaux: Mrs. Rosabelle Dufour, Point Marion and Ulysses Greathouse, of Smithfield. A brother and sister, Everett Greathouse of Indiana, Pa. And Mrs. A. K. Jenkins Point Marion, also survive together, with 10 grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. George Swearman preceded him in death two years ago.
Rev. G. A. Fallon, pastor of the Point Marion Methodist Episcopal church, will conduct funeral services Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the family residence. Burial in Evergreen Memorial cemetery, Point Marion.
