Edward worked as a stone mason in Spencer, WV. After retiring he moved to Ohio where he spent the last years of his line in Massillon State Hospital, an asylum for the insane. He probably suffered from Altzheimers disease.
Edward married Mary Alice Hunt, daughter of Oliver Hunt and Elizabeth Harper, on 22 Feb 1883 in Spencer, Roane County, West Virginia.
