Gives Marriage. Gene says that the surname McDaniels was used intermittantly with McDonald, McDonnell and McDannel. Said none of the ancestors could read or write in the late 1700's early 1800's, but is certain all of the same family. Zachariah married Paulina Greathouse, daughter of Moses Greathouse and Nancy Curry, on 18 Mar 1839 in , Harrison County, West Virginia. (Paulina Greathouse was born on 11 Dec 1820 in , Taylor, West Virginia and died on 22 May 1900.)
