Source: Phillip Carpenter, e-mail dated 24 Jan 2000. He has the spouce of Harmon Greathouse as Elizabeth McCollock, b. 1784 in Maryland and died inCarbondale, IL. "In 1974 or so, my Grandmother had the present owners of the land that the Greathouse cemetery is on look for Elizabeth. The couple said the cemetery was in terrible shape then and that was 25 years ago. They did not find her stone, but saw several laid down they couldn't read."
