Source: Letter Chris Bailey to Sherry Scoresby corrected her connection to the Greathouse family. It had previously been believed that Mary Ann Greathouse was descended from Johannes. This letter established proof that Mary Ann was the daughter of William and Mary Crew. Mary Rhine/Ryan was the mother of William. See notes for Benjamin Greathouse, father of William.

After about two years they went to Fulton County, IL where Rebecca and George Davis were married. (quote was from a book by Mary Greathouse. and this was what led Nellie Knox astray as to parent of William.)
