Died on the way to Kentucky on a flatboat. He and his intended bride, Henrietta Ann Rigby, were massacred by Indians on river bank of the Ohio. Henrietta was a sister of Isaac's wife Elizabeth. Also in the party were Henrietta's brother Nimrod, 2l, sister, Mary, 13. This happened at mouth of the Scioto River, near Maysville, KY. Ten years after the border wars had ended.
