Franklin Etheridge officiating. -Born in Taylor County to the late James Floyd Hogg and Fannie Jackson Greathouse Hogg, Mrs. Spies was retired from AT&T. -Survivors include her children, Donald Spies of Columbia, MO, Deborah Lynn Sargent (Micheal) of Grandview, MO, and James Bruce Spies of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Mindy Brehe (Eric), Jennifer Sargent and Christopher Sargent, all of Grandview, MO; great-grandchildren, Alex Brehe, Kylee Brehe and Peyton Brehe, all of Grandview, MO; and sisters and brothers, Julia Ogden of Fort Valley, Cecil Hogg of Reynolds, Jane Edwards of Columbia, SC, and Bobby Hogg of Bonaire.
