Esther Pearl Hudnall 79 of Bowling Green died at 5:15 am March 18, 2007 at her home following a lengthy illness.

The Butler County native was retired from General Electric in Owensboro. She was a Baptist and attended Greenwood Park Church of Christ with her family. She was an avid quilter and a past officer of the Rebekkah Lodge in Morgantown. She was a daughter of the late Frank and Dellar Greathouse of Butler County and the wife of the late Willie R. Hudnall. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence "Jake," Hubert and Strothers Greathouse; two sisters, Lorrine and Corrine Greathouse; two stepsons, James and Billy Hudnall; and a stepdaughter, Omia Hudnall Murphy.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Chapel, with burial in Union Cemetery in Butler County. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Rollie Hudnall and his wife, Sandra Arlene; a grandson, Phillip Hudnall; a granddaughter, Holly Brooks and her husband, Bobby, and their two children, Shayla and Courtney, all of Bowling Green; a sister, Marguerite "Mag" Neely of Huntsville; a brother, F.G. Greathouse of Pleasant View, Tenn.; four stepdaughters, Hazel Plousee of Evansville, Ind., Velma Peay and Allyne Carroll of Rochester and Carol Kayse and her husband, Paul, of Indianapolis; 11 stepgranddaughters, Donna Varner and Debbie Cates of Evansville, Rita Barks, Paulette Stubblefield and Kimberly Oliver of Bowling Green, Wanda Gossett and Beverly Boykin of Rochester, Shelia Coleman of Morgantown, Elaine Lash of Woodstock, Ga., Sheila Miller of Louisville and Janice Brown of Nashville; eight stepgrandsons, Jimmy Smith of Newburg, Ind., Ricky, Robin and Ronald "Joe" Hudnall of Muhlenburg County, Roger "Buddy" Hudnall of Owensboro, Bobby and Gary Hudnall of Indianapolis and Jeff Hudnall of Denver; six nieces; a nephew; and 37 great-stepgranchildren.
