John L, Greathouse who married Catherine Hoover was the son of David Greathouse by his first wife Pensillah Goodwin. David and Pensillah were married in Balatimore Co., MD, went to Mason Co. KY for a time and finally settled in White County, IL. "At this point we have not solidly proven who David's father was."
