General:
Robert was in the Navy. Sandy Davis has a newspaper article that says there was an accidental drowning while he was on duty. Sandy's father says that on Robert's retirement day from the Navy, he was in New Orleans and got involved in a drunken brawl and somhow was killed. Someone reported the military drowning so that his mother would get benefits because the family was so poor, and to obtain an honorable discharge. A woman that was there they day he died told this story to a family member. 110
