In Memory
On Friday night March 3, the Death Angel visited the home of Charlie Hartsell and took his dear old mother's spirit to God who gave it. Grandma was seventy-four years old. She gave her heart to God when she was quite young and joined the Missionary Baptist church and has lived a devoted christian life ever since.
She leaves three sons and one daughter, Bud, Charlie and Jim Hartsell of Boothe, and Minnie Harrison of Lucas, and several grandchildren to mourn her death.
The remains were laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove cemetery Sunday afternoon, March 5, 1922 to await the final judgment day. Weep not dear children for mother is not dead, but is resting and waiting on the other shore.
