In 1802 and estate sale is advertised in an Augusta Co., GA newspaper by John Cassels, administrator. In 1802 court records of Columbia Co., GA and surrounding counties, a John Castle along with son and other sons-in=law of Jacob Greathouse, gave a quit claim deed to settle that estate. He in 1816 will in Jasper Co., GA leaving widow, Christian and children.
