Notes: Nile enjoyed farming/ranching and his animals, especially Herford and Terintaise cattle. He was active with his children in 4-H. He belonged to the American Legion and the U.S. Air Force Association. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where we he was involved with the Boy Scouts, Young Men, and Sunday School. In his later years, he enjoyed watching all kinds of sports, keeping up on current events, gardening, and spending time with his family. Burial Notes: Funeral services were held Friday, October 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 501 Winter Creek Drive, Scottsbluff, with Bishop Jared Palmer officiating. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Gering with military honors provided by the Nebraska National Guard.
