Notes: Several of the family, (Greathouses, Rectors, Hales, and Davidsons) came to Farwell, Texas on the train in 1907 where they bought wagons and horses and filed on land at Frio, New Mexico in Quay Co., near Forrest, NM. John Patton and Fannie Mae Lowe spent the rest of their liveS in this area. They were farmers and farmed the land 20 and 1/2 miles north of Melrose and 9 miles east of Ragland, NM. They had 2 stillborn children while living in KY. They were the parents of eleven other children. (Francis "Fanny" Mae Greathouse was born on 3 May 1877 in South Hill, Butler County, Kentucky,1 died on 15 Sep 1944 in Forrest, Quay County, New Mexico 1 and was buried in Forrest - Beevers Cemetery, , New Mexico.)
