Porter Lowe ¹

Fern Gold: My mother had a brother named Alec Porter and I was told by more than one person that he was named for my grandfather's only brother. This brother was called Uncle Porter by the family. I was also told that he had a wife was named Agnes and they had two children and lived in San Antonia, Texas and worked for the railroad. I cannot find an Alec Porter Lowe and I have searched diligently. I do find an Alfred P. Lowe married to an Agnes with one child, a girl, and I cannot read that name. I do not know if this is Porter Lowe but the name of his wife fits and he does work for the railroad. He is also from Kentucky. This person is found in two census records in same place,working for the railroad but both times with the name Alfred P. Lowe.
