After WW II Charles stayed in Germany and worked for the Stars and Stripes Military newspaper. They lived in Damstat near Frankfort. Betty worked for a bakery and could really cook. She died of a heart attack. Charlie died of a blood infection at Bethseda Hospital in Maryland. He had dental work and got a blood infection plastic anemia and died.
