Probate records found in Wilson Co., KS on guardianship of children of one Elizabeth Gardner, dec'd papers were filed 1875 by L.D. Gardner. Children listed were William, Henderson, Etha Allen, and L.D. (from Elizabeh Durovac-Faler.
Further information from Elizabeth states that the children listed were the children of another Elizabeth Gardner, possibly the wife of William Gardner, possibly related to Lorenzo Gardner.
Sandy Faler found in Wilson County, Kanson Probate Record Page 70 X25: Gardern, Wm. age 20, Henderson age 16, Etha Allen age 14 L.D. age 12, Mother deceased Elizabeth Gardner.

William married Elizabeth Strange, daughter of William Alloway Strange and Demarius Davis.
