Georgia Alice Magnus, 76, of Cedar Vale, died thursday (Feb. 2, 1995) at William Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield.
Services are scheduled for 10:30 am Monday (Feb. 6, 1995) at Cedar Vale Baptist Church with internment to follwo in the Cedar Vale Cemetery.
Born Dec. 18, 1918, in Dallas County, Mo., Mrs. Magnus was the daughter of Burlie Burton and Maude Icy (Crawford) Snodgrass.
She married Leo G. Magnus on Aug 7, 1935 in Sedan. They farmed south of Cedar Vale before moving into Cedar Vale in 1986. Mr. Magnus preceded her in death on June 21, 1991.
She ws a member of CedarVale First Baptist Church, Cloverdale Card Party and Red Bud Dance Club.
Her survivors include: two sons, Kenneth L. of Arkansas City, and Myrl of Medford Oklahoma; one brother, Jay of Shellknob, Mo.; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Cedar Vale Ambulance Service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home, Cedar Vale.
