ELVIS C. GREATHOUSE
Elvis C. Greathouse, 94, of Bowling Green died at 4:00 a.m., September 5, 2009 at his son's residence in Alvaton.
The Warren County native was a farmer and a member of Jackson Grove Baptist Church for 61 years where he was very active as a deacon, song leader, music director, sunday school teacher and church clerk for 32 years. He was the son of the late Willie Greathouse and Bertha "Duckett" Greathouse and the husband of the late Sarah Louise "Jones" Greathouse for 58 years. He was preceded in death by brothers, Hulen and Leroy Greathouse and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Greathouse Lockhart.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2009, at Bethel Cemetery where he will be buried. No visitation is scheduled.
Survivors include his son, Bobby E. Greathouse and his wife, Jennifer of Alvaton, a sister, Marie Greathouse of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Dale, Derek and his wife, Pam and Tonya; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Elvis C. Greathouse, 94, of Bowling Green died at 4 a.m. Sept. 5,
2009, at his son's residence.

The Warren County native was born Sept. 30, 1914. He was a farmer

Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, is in charge of the
arrangements.
