He resided from 1770 to 1819 in Redstone, Fayette Co., PA, Fayette was formed from Westmoreland Co., 26 Sep 1783. Old Fort Redstone is where Brownsville, PA is today. Among His effects was a chest that contained fully three bushels of silver and gold"
Jonathan was committed to an insane assylum in Virginia after killing his wife on March 12, 1819.
