I "met" Pugnutty**** during a genealogy chat on AOL. She lives in Stockton, about two miles from Modesto. Her mother was the head receptionist at the Modesto Bee newspaper for many years, beginning in the 1950's. She knew Orlando Walkling and had an article about him in her scrapbook. Orlando's son substituted for Pugnutty's father on his paper route.

Walkling of Sonora and the late Sibyl Marshall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandfather of Sandra Showalt of Modesto, Rosemary Walkling of Kansas, Gary Walkling of Missouri, Mrs, James Hull, Gerald Marshall, and Donald Marshall, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Nine great grandchildren also survive. A native of the South Canadian River, Indian Territory, Oklahoma, aged 106 years.
Services, Wenesday, February 13, at 3 p.m. in the Salas Drothers Funeral Chapel, 419 Scenic Drive, Rev. Donald G. Weston officiating. Private internment, Odd Fellows Cemetery.
