There is a picture in the Greathouse scrapbook I have of LaVerna with Mahala Ahrberg and Ella Dungan, and their connection to the Greathouse family needs to be confirmed. I have the following information on Mahala: name is Mary Mahala Gibson Ahrberg, and she was 48 years old on the 1920 census of Payne County, Oklahoma. She was born in Missouri, her father born in Missouri, and her mother in Illinois. Mahala's husband was Fred Ahrberg, born about 1872 in Kansas. Mahala's father was William Harrison Gibson, and her mother was Harriet Jackson. I have no information on Ellen Dungan.

Walkling Funeral Will Be Held On Monday
Funeral services for LaVerna Belle Walkling, 79, will be conducted at 3:30 PM Monday at the Salas Brothers-Moore Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Walkling died Thursday after an extended illness. She had been a Modesto resident eight years and was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. She was the wife of Orlando Walkling of Modesto. Sherman Cannon will officiate at the services.
