My grandmother, Margaret Greathouse Hiett (my mother also remembers the name "Hattie" associated wtih Margaret, but it is not on the copy of the birth certificate I have. I have heard stories all my life that she was a bit of a rebel. She was caught smoking in the stables wtih the cowboys and sent to a catholic boarding school. I also think she ran away to be married. On every website I have found wtih her ancestors, she is not listed, but I do have her BC with her parents listed.
