Notes:
Source: From Ted McMullen, a descendant. He maintains that John Greathouse Sr, ot the John Greathouse Sr and Sarah McDade file , is the son of Daniel Greathouse and Mary- Morris. "both William Bishop's "History of Roane County 1774-1928 and "History of Roane County-1989" refer to Daniel as John's father. And of course the Family Bible maintained by my great grandmother, Sarah McDade Greathouse McMullen also included Daniel, but unfortunately the Bible is no longer in existence, destroyed by my brother." Ted has the original handwritten notes he copied from the Bible before it was destroyed.
