He was in Clark County, GA in 1820 census with a wife 26-45, a son under 10 and another aged 16-26. Without proof this child was assigned to Jacob by David Castro. 1820 census: Clark Co., GA just west of Wilkes and east of Newton, formed from Jackson and Green Counties in 1801.
Earl Greathouse shows father of Abrahm, Sarah and Hanna as Jacob B. Groethause 1721-1801 married to Christianity Van Huse...these dates seem unlikey as Jacob would have been 50 whe the first child was born.See notes for Sarah.
