Source: June Sarte, a descendant. When Daniel and Nancy died, by 1825, their children were left in the care of their grandfather, Lewis Potter and Uncle Thomas Potter. (Guardianship paper dated 4 Jan 1825) Alonzo and his siblings went to Illinois (possibly with their Uncle Felix Potter) but I do not know the date this occured as yet.
