BIRTH: Probably born in Naarden, Netherlands, prior to the family coming to the new world.

Jacob lived in Albany NY 1660-1689. He had a bakery business. In 1674 he owned a residence, now in NYC, on present West side of Broad St. between Wall and Beaver Streets, then known as part of Sheep Pasture and Princen Graft. He probably was granted 4000+ acres in present Somerset Co. NJ by King George II.
