Source: Chris Bailey The records of St. Michael's Evangelical Church at Germantown, PA show that Anna Maria Puffin, (anglocized name would be Mary Puff) was the mother of a bastard child named William Greathouse born 2 Aug 1748 and baptized in 1749. The father was William Greathouse (apparently the same William (d. 1791), son of John Greathouse and Amelia Miller. William Greathouse, the father, never married Mary Puff, but eventually married Barbara Schutz and had a large family in Harrison Co. WV.
