William Miller Will of Real and Personal Estate
I William Miller of the Township of Pleasant in the county of Monroe and State of Iowa of the age of Seventy Six years and being of sound mind, do make, publish, and declare, this is my last will and testament, in the manner following, that is to say:
First I give and bequeth to Aurila McMullen my Daughter and her heirs forty acres of land situated lying and being in the County of Lucas and State of Iowa. The same land being now occupied by her and family. This same tract of land I sold and bargained to Richard McMullen giving him a bond for a Deed when he should pay to me a stipulated sum of money viz "The sum of three hundred and thirty two dollars and seventy eight cts with ten per cent per annem. Now if this money shall be paid principle and interest according to the Bond I gave, Then I will and Bequeath this same money priciple & interest to my daughter Aurila and her heirs. 2nd I will and Bequeath to my son Orrin Miller all the money I have now laying in his hands, with the exception of what I may need for my personal comfort while I may live. 3rd I will and Bequeath to my son Sylvanus Miller All the money I have now laying in his hands. 4th I will and Bequeath to my grand Daughter Julia Ann Lindsey all the money I now have in William Lindsey's hands. 5th I appoint a request my son Orrin Miller to act as my agent to collect my outstanding moneys and also to pay the same out as hereinafter directed. 6th I will and Bequeath that my agent Orrin Miller shall pay over to my Brother George Miller all of my outstanding notes & debts when they shall become due and collected by him.
