Velma's records said that her grandfather had a brother by the name of Abraham L. Greathouse.
Bitha's notes said her father was born in 1850, but the census below says 1860 he was 3 years old which would make him born about 1857 or 1858. In 1920 James and Ruth lived in Turnback, Lawrance, Missouri.

James T. Greathouse lists his birth state as Missouri, in 1900, 1910, and 1930 censuses. The 1920 just says US. But the 1860, of his parents Thomas and Sarah, census in Marshfield, Webster County, Missouri list James his brothers George and William as all being born in Missouri, from 1852-1857, so they were living in Webster County in those years. This census also says James T. is 3 years old at this time, 1857.
