Notes
Death Notes:
Henry E. (son) sold his Mary Ann's land in 1860, probably shortly after her death.
General:
Souce: Sandy Taylor and Carol Greathouse - The name "Sarah" for Mary Ann Greathouse comes from Harmon's will dated 24 Aug 1843, probated Oct 1852. It lists his wife's name as Sarah in the will as it is transcribed into the probated record.

The 1787-05 Work Group believes that Sarah is a transcription error, that it may have been because Harmon's son Harmon Jr. was present with his wife Sarah at the probate hearing. MaryAnn was made the executor for the will. The 1787-05 Work Group believes if she were not the wife of Harmon mentioned in the will that something to that effect would have been entered in the probate hearing record. There is no other record of this Harmon every having been married to a Sarah.
