Sylvester Greathouse, is also a native of this county. He read law in the office of Mathews and Putman, and was admitted to the bar in 1875, and immediately entered upon the practice in partnership with the firm above named. He served the people of the County in the capacity of Treasurer, being elected in 1865 and reelected in 1867.
He could be the Grandson of Isaac Greathouse, son of John and Catherine. The dates on this line do not match up too well. (Fdn)
