Source: Penny Knapp - Jasper Pennington, Rebecca's son, ordered the headstones for her parents. I remember, after the stones were installed, there was a discussion about the birth date on Rebecca's stone being wrong. The date on the stone is 1852, but her father, William H. Greathouse had the dates of his childrens birth listed when he put in an application for his son Elija's military pension from the civil war. The correct date is 7 Aug 1856. Rebecca had a daughter, named cenia on 25 Nov 1894 that lived until 6 Dec 1894. Rebecca died 12 days later on 19 Dec 1894. 329
